If the money feels stuck, read this.

Hey Reader,

Every Monday, The Wright Step lands with practical, grounded guidance across the four pillars of building a strong, sustainable business: Leadership | Operations | Mindset | Finance/Marketing

This week is Finance/Marketing, and we’re not sugarcoating it. If your revenue feels stuck, scattered, or unpredictable, this is for you.

✦ Clarity Spark

“Most revenue problems aren’t about effort. They’re about misalignment.”

You’re not lazy. You’re not lost. But if your revenue feels slow, it’s not random. It’s signaling something. Too often, we respond to lagging income by doing more: more posts, more offers, more hours. What we actually need to do is stop and ask: What’s not aligned?

This isn’t about working harder. It’s about making sure the right pieces are pointed in the same direction: your offer, your audience, your pricing, and your ask.

This edition is your mirror. Look closely. Name the gap. Then fix it.

“Business opportunities are like buses — there's always another one coming.” — Richard Branson

✦ The Wright Tool

What’s Slowing Your Revenue?

Pick the statement that hits hardest:

  1. I keep creating things, but they don’t sell.
  2. I’m selling, but I’m undercharging or overdelivering.
  3. I avoid looking at my numbers unless necessary.
  4. I’m showing up, but not consistently asking for the sale.
  5. I make money, but I don’t know where it’s going.

Each one points to a different kind of revenue drag. You can use your answer to open the right Revenue Blocker Toolkit.

Reflect on your answer: Take two minutes to write about the one statement that hit hardest. Ask yourself:

  • What behaviour does this pattern create?
  • How long have I been tolerating it?
  • What would shift if I addressed it this week?

You can use this moment to turn awareness into action, not another note you forget by Friday.

✦ Business Tip

Revenue is responsive. It reflects your clarity, systems, and courage. If it feels slow or unpredictable, don’t jump into panic mode. Pause and ask:

  • What is this number trying to show me?
  • What have I been avoiding?
  • Where do I need to make a cleaner ask?

✦ Wright Invitation

You can’t fix what you won’t name.

Avoidance is expensive. So is perfection. So is playing small. Choose one pattern to shift this week. Not all of them. Just one.
